Televisa and TV Azteca will broadcast the first leg of Liga MX final between Tigres and Chivas. This marks the first time both companies will share the TV rights for the domestic tournament.
Televisa owns the rights to broadcast Tigres games. However, TV Azteca announced it will also air the match, which will be played on Thursday 25 at 9 PM (Mexico time).
This is the first time that a Liga MX final will be broadcasted simultaneously by both channels, although this model has already been adopted for other sports, such as boxing. Recently, both TV Azteca and Televisa broadcasted the fight Canelo Álvarez Vs Julio César Chávez Jr.
The second leg match will be played at the Chivas stadium in Guadalajara, and will only be available on pay TV channel TDN and the streaming platforms Chivas TV, Cinépolis Klic and Claro Video.
