Televisa positioned as leader in digital content

According to the latest ComScore ranking of most viewed news sites, Grupo Televisa is the main digital content generator, with more than 27.8 million unique visitors.
The site grew by 351% from May to June and reached 11.8 million unique users. On the other hand, Noticieros Televisa increased its audience by 34.5%, from 7.5 million users to 10.1 million in the same period.
The growth in the user base was driven by the coverage of the World Cup in Russia and the presidential elections in Mexico, among other events. According to the ComScore report, right behind Televisa was El Universal with 14.8 million unique users. Uno TV Noticias ranked third with with 11.7 million.
Ricardo Carvajal, general director of Televisa’s Digital Business will participate in the next edition of NexTV Series Mexico & Central America, the leading conference to be held on September 25 and 26 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Mexico City.
