Teatrix launches on Roku in Argentina

Teatrix, the Argentine SVOD platform focused on theater plays, announced that is now available on Roku devices in Argentina. In this way, users can access a catalog that includes productions of theatres of Corrientes Avenue, as well as Broadway plays. As part of the launch, Teatrix offers Roku users a 50% discount on the subscription price.
The service includes a varied offer of dozens of plays, as well as interviews with leading actors and the behind the scenes of productions. With this new deal, users will be able to find Teatrix within the Roku Channels, which also includes OTT services such as Netflix, among others.
Teatrix launched three years ago and was created from an idea of Mirta Romay, the founder of the platform, explained Alejandro Lacalle, Teatrix CFO, during the recent edition of NexTV Series Argentina. The executive said that the platform created its catalog through agreements with local producers and currently also includes plays from Broadway and Brazil. The monthly subscription costs AR$ 180 (USD 7.2).
