RTVE channels reach new distribution deals in Argentina

Spanish corporation RTVE announced that in the coming weeks its international TV channels will gain more distribution in Latin America. TVE, Star and Clan will be integrated into an OTT with presence in almost all Latin American countries.
In addition, in the coming weeks RTVE will be incorporated into two new pay TV platforms in Argentina, although the company did not specify the names of the operators.
The company also closed a new agreement for the distribution of 24 Horas in Mexico. Likewise, new negotiations have been opened with various pan-regional operators for the distribution of Star and Clan through their platforms. Meanwhile, a new operator in Argentina may deliver RTVE’s kids channel Clan, the company said in a statement.
During Natpe 2018, RTVE also made agreements to distribute content packages with US networks and platforms specialized in Spanish-language content. The company also inked another agreement for the sale of entertainment programs in Central America.
