Paramount Channel to premiere “The Handmaid’s Tale” in March

Paramount Channel confirmed that it will premiere “The Handmaid’s Tale” on March 11, exclusively in Latin America. The dystopian drama recently won the 2018 Golden Globe for Best TV Series in the Drama category.
The ten-episode first season was released in April in the U.S through Hulu streaming platform. The series has been renewed for a second season, which will debut in April only for Hulu subscribers in that country.
“The Handmaid’s Tale” -based on the novel by Canadian writer Margaret Atwood- was one of the big winners at the Globes. In addition to Best Drama Series award, Elisabeth Moss won for Best Actress in Drama Series. In 2017, the series also won six Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
