Brazilian OTT platform Looke now offers offline content

Brazilian OTT platform Looke announced that it now offers the option to download movies, series and music shows of its catalog for offline viewing.

 

In a press release, the company explained: “Internet in Brazil and the limits imposed by operators make life difficult for those who depend on mobile Internet to watch movies and series via streaming”.

 

Thus, now is possible to download content on smartphones and tablets Android and iOS, and PC desktop with a WiFi connection, allowing economize internet data plans. The company reported that this feature will be available soon for computers and smartphones with Windows 10.

 

“We are a Brazilian company and we know that users cannot depend on the time of our Internet service. We have regions of Brazil where there are practically no mobile internet, so it is practically impossible to use the streaming being outside our homes or businesses”, said Luiz Guimarães, Director of Business Affairs at Looke.
