Turner’s channels could no longer be part of the Brazilian pay-TV operator Oi’s programming grid. The main reason is that the company is developing negotiations with the programmer to renew its channels distribution agreement without increasing the value of its customers subscriptions.
According to what Oi reported, in case the negotiation with Turner does not come to terms, the programmer’s channels will be removed from the pay TV operator programming grid, starting next January 1st. The company also promised to keep its subscribers informed about the course of the negotiations and possible replacements for the channels.
Turner’s channels available on OiTV are TNT, TNT Series, I.Sat, TBS, TCM, Space, Cartoon Network, Tooncast, Boomerang, CNN International and CNN in Spanish.
