NexTV Series, the most exclusive conference on the future of TV and OTT, comes to México

NexTV Series Mexico & Central America, the leading conference organized by Dataxis, will gather the main TV, OTT and online video companies around the debate on the future of TV. The 7th edition of the conference will be held on October 3 and 4 at the Presidente Intercontinental hotel in Mexico City. More than 50 industry-leading speakers will discuss the keys to understanding market trends.

The event will present the case of Megacable’s Xview, the multiplatform service that integrates linear TV and OTT. Gerardo Seifert, Chief Marketing Officer of the operator, will discuss the strategy of this service in a “one on one” session.

The future of the pay TV business will also be discussed in one of the 10 executive panels, featuring José Antonio Hidalgo, VP and General Manager for Mexico of Sony Pictures Entertainment; Patricio Zorrilla, VP of Ultra Telecom; and Teuhtli Estrada, Totalplay Product Manager.

The transformation of free-to-air TV will be another topic to be discussed at the conference. Rosy Ocampo, Corporate Content VP of Televisa, will participate in a special “one on one” session. In addition, executives from the two main networks, TV Azteca and Televisa, will discuss multiplatform strategies together with YouTube Mexico. Another executive panel will focus on DTT and TV online.

The conference will also analyze OTT market trends with the participation of executives from Cinépolis KLIC, Fox Networks Group and Crunchyroll. Another executive panel will address the challenges of live streaming in big sporting events and the eSports boom with the participation of Claro Sports, Chivas TV, ESL, MLB and WWE. In another executive panel, Blim, Dish and Axtel CTOs will discuss the future of TV technologies and the challenge of multiple devices.
