Brazilian telecommunications company Tim launched its first family plan, called “TIM Black Family,” which includes Netflix and two other digital services: Tim Music, dedicated to streaming music, and TIM Virtual Banking, which allows digital access to more than 100 magazines. Both plans also include of 60, 100 or 180 GB packages to share between family members.
‘We have arrived late at the family level, but we are looking to do something innovative’, said Pietro Labriola, CEO of Tim. According to Renato Ciuchini, Head of Marketing at Tim, the new plan ‘was a pending issue in our portfolio’, and said that currently ‘we have clients with members of their families who are not our clients. Now we have a reason to attract them’.
The company also informed that subscribers to the new plan will be able to manage it from the Meu Tim application directly from smartphones. Apart from other available featutres, clients may include or remove family members from the plan.
