Netflix signs exclusive deal with Atresmedia

Netflix has signed a deal for the preferential acquisition of fiction content from Atresmedia. In this way, the deal gives the streaming giant right of first refusal over the series by the Spanish company.
The media group said in a statement that this agreement will lengthen and optimize the economic life of the productions and expand the international strategy. Atresmedia claims to have the most exported Spanish series catalog.
Titles such as “Velvet”, “Gran Hotel”, “La casa de papel”, “Mar de Plástico”, “Vis a Vis”, “El Barco” or “El Internado” are already available on the platform globally, while others such as “Fariña” and “La Catedral Del Mar” will also be available.
