Netflix announced that the new Mexican original series “Ingobernable” will premiere on March 24 at 12am (CST). The fictional piece will feature a total of 15 episodes that will tell the story of a Presidential family set in present day Mexico.
The series stars Kate del Castillo (La Reina del Sur) as Emilia Urquiza, the First Lady of Mexico, a woman with a strong personality, conviction and clear ideas that make her capable of doing anything, said Netflix in a press release. Erik Hayser (Las Aparicio) will play the role of the Mexican president.
“Ingobernable” in Netflix’s second original series from Mexico, after “Club de Cuervos”. It is produced by Argos and created by Epigmenio Ibarra, Veronica Velasco and Natasha Ybarra-Klor. The series is directed by Pedro Pablo Ibarra “Pitipol” and Jose Luis Garcia Agraz.
