National Geographic Partners has confirmed that it will launch Nat Geo Kids, its multiplatform entertainment offer for children aged 4 to 7 years, on July 1 in Latin America and September 1 in Brazil.
This launch had already been anticipated by executives of Fox Networks Group (FNG) last month and now it has been confirmed officially.
The channel will be launched to more than 28 million pay TV subscribers in Latin American Spanish speaking countries and it will also be available through an interactive application.
Nat Geo Kids will offer full episodes, videos, games and images on science, exploration and adventure content, available through any device, on and offline.
The new initiative will feature more than 400 hours of entertainment, including original productions and animated international hits such as “The Adventures of Blinky Bill”, “Ready Jet Go!”, “Chuck’s Choice” and “Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab”, among other titles.
