From Tuesday 19th, February, Net and Claro subscribers in Brazil will be able to access to Netflix catalog. OTT series and movies are available through the operator’s STB.
‘We are bringing together the best content from all platforms, with Netflix diversity and quality Netflix. Access will be through Net’s remote control, as well as the possibility of accessing that content when and where subscribers want’, said Marcelo Carvalho, Claro Brazil’s Marketing Director, group that includes Net and Claro.
Currently, access to Netflix content is only available for Net 4K packages subscribers, which already includes Pay-TV content such as HBO, Viacom, Discovery, Turner, Fox and ESPN. Subscribers will be able to access Netflix from the applications of their STB, or from channel 680. They must enter their username and password of the platform to be able to use it. Those who do not have a Netflix subscription can hire it for Net and pay it on the same invoice. Those who do not have the 4K package available, may request an update to access Netflix series and movies. Net 4K allows you to save the content in Cloud DVR to view it at the time and place that subscriber wishes.
In addition, those who enter the new platform also have access to Replay TV, which allows to go back the programming for up to seven days to watch TV programs that were already broadcast. Subscribers can also choose from titles available in Now, and rent recent movie releases or main pay TV programs for free, when they are available in the catalog.
