Spanish telecommunications company Telefonica announced through a press release that its Movistar Play Video On Demand (VOD) service in Chile, Colombia and Peru will incorporate live signals of the American sports programmer ESPN.
In Chile, Movistar Play will add to its existing range of linear channels via streaming the ESPN and ESPN 2 signals, while in Colombia and Peru it included these two plus ESPN 3, channel already available in the South Andean country.
The sports offer of the ESPN signals have contents such as the Spanish Football League, the Italian “calcio” tournament, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europe League, ATP tennis Masters 1000 and Grand Slams, golf PGA and the Majors and the Rio 2016 Olympics, in addition to its flagship news shows.
