Movistar expands FTTH network in Colombia

Movistar Colombia announced the launch of FTTH services in Santa Marta, capital of the Magdalena Department, with investments of CO$ 5 billion (USD 1.6 million). The offer includes speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
Clients can subscribe to the Full Home plans with 10 Mbps for CO$ 129,900 (USD 40.7) per month or 20 Mbps for CO$ 146,900 (USD 46), which include a landline with unlimited national and local calls, Movistar TV with 53 channels HD included and 84 SD channels and Movistar Play with 54 live channels.
The 50 Mbps plan for CO$ 203,900 (USD 64) includes Movistar TV with Zafiro plan, 68 HD channels and 84 in SD. In addition, all Trio plans include the first 2 months free. There are also options to contract broadband without TV starting at CO$ 87,900 (USD 27.5).
In addition, customers who activate the plans of the new Fibra Movistar in both Trio and Duo plans will receive more megabytes for 12 months. This means that those who subscribe to 10 Mbps will receive 20, those who acquire 20 will receive 50 and those of 50 will have 100 Mbps.
