Mexican national soccer team will auction exhibition rights

Andres Fassi, Vice President of the Mexican Pachuca Team, said that the exhibition rights for the matches involving the national Mexican soccer team will be auctioned for the period 2018-2022. The goal is to find a better offer, he said to the newspaper Jornada.
Until now Televisa and TV Azteca held the exhibition rights in Mexico, however this could soon changes after the 2018 World Cup.
“Exhibition rights for the national team will strive for the best offers to the benefit of all teams, in order to continue to improve on the Mexican Soccer scene”, said Fassi after the session of the Committee for the Sport Development of the Mexican League.
“The Mexican national team handles the Mexican Soccer Federation (FMF) and we have plenty of confidence that this renewal of the exhibition rights will be an open decision, plural and that will really benefit the FMF and all the teams” added the executive.
