After its broadcast in the US and Mexico through Telemundo and Las Estrellas, ‘Luis Miguel, the series’ is now adding a new FTA TV screen, apart from its global broadcast on Netflix. After acquiring the biopic, Chilean Canal 13 began to announce its premiere, scheduled for its prime time programming grid.
As reported by the specialized website Todo TV News, which quotes Chilean local media that states it, Luis Miguel’s series would arrive at Canal 13 at the end of this month, and one episode per week would be broadcast on Sundays. The content aims to tell Luis Miguel’s personal story, from his birth to his consolidation as one of the greatest icons of music in Spanish. It will also feature special episodes from the singer’s life, such as his mother’s disappearance the conflictive relationship with his father, his rise to fame and several of his love relationships.
Produced by Gato Grande Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), and starred by Mexican actor Diego Boneta, the series has a confirmed second season. Likewise, and in addition to Canal 13, Telemundo and Las Estrellas (Televisa), Luis Miguel’s series was acquired by America TV (Peru), which has not broadcast it so far.
