Mexican triple-play operator Izzi Telecom (Televisa) has launched a new video product called Izzi TV. The service includes live TV channels, VOD content from the OTT Blim and Izzi go application to access the programming from mobile devices. The monthly subscription costs USD 19.6.
According to Izzi’s website, the service comes with more than 220 live TV channels, 60 in HD. The VOD offer has more than 14,000 titles of series and movies from Televisa’s OTT platform Blim, launched earlier this year. Users can also add channels of the premium packs HBO, Fox+ and Golden Premier.
Izzi go app can be downloaded free of charge from Google Play and App Store. The application acts as a remote control and allows simultaneous use of Izzi TV, even with different programming on TV and on mobile devices.
Izzi TV service uses the Iris multi-screen solution of the Spanish company Mirada. Iris TV Everywhere solution enables content to be viewed across set-top boxes, smartphones and tablets.
