American programmer HBO (Time Warner) announced through a press release that it has started producing in Argentina the new original series “El Jardín de Bronce”, in association with local producer Pol-Ka.
The series is based on the bestselling novel written by the Argentine author Gustavo Malajovich (“Muerte en Buenos Aires”, “Los simuladores”). The first season will have eight one hour-episodes and will be filmed in Buenos Aires.
The story – written by Malajovich and Marcos Osorio Vidal – follows the desperate struggle of the architect Fabian Danube to get his daughter back, who inexplicably disappeared without a trace, HBO said in a statement.
Pol-Ka is the same producer behind the hit series “Epitafios”, HBO’s first original series in Latin America.
