Streaming service GoMusic announced that it has signed a new agreement with Warner Music to live stream concerts of several top-artists, stating in October, in all Latin American markets where GoMusic operates.
The list of artists includes Coldplay, Pablo Alboran, Madonna, Led Zepelin, Linkin Park, Green Day, Eric Clapton, Michael Bublé, Maná and Alejandro Sanz, among others. “The streaming music market is constantly growing, and one of the verticals we are most interested in is the streaming of concerts, so this partnership with GoMusic is very important for the company,” said Ruben Abraham, Director, Commercial & Business Development – México & Central America at Warner Music Group. The executive also mentioned the GoMusic is a multiplatform service and this is one of the main requirements of the consumers.
Hernán Portugal, CEO and founder of GoMusic, said the content is “the king” so this partnership with Warner Music “is a milestone in the history of the company and enhances the scope and goals we previously set.”
GoMusic operates in Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica. It also began its expansion in Colombia, Peru and Paraguay, and plans to launch in Brazil and Spain before the end of this year.
