Globo’s “Total Dreamer” arrives in Africa

Brazil’s Globo announced during Natpe 2017 that its telenovela ‘Total Dreamer’ will be distributed to French-speaking countries in Africa by Côte Oues, leading distributor of audiovisual content in the territory.

The telenovela was a hit in Brazil and reached more than 182 million viewers in the country (considering individuals who tuned in for at least one minute of the complete telenovela, according to Ibope). It was also a big success in Portugal, where it ranked among the top 5 most watched pay TV programs, Globo said in a press release.

Côte Ouest had already bet on major Brazilian blockbusters such as “Brazil Avenue”, “Irrational Heart” and “The Life We Lead”.

“Total Dreamer” will soon be available also in Middle East. MBC group has already acquired licensing rights for its MBC 4 channel. The telenovela will be dubbed in Arabic and still does not have a premier date.
