The app includes features like Start Over, Reverse EPG, as well as content personalization and notifications, multi-camera function, statistics and results in real time, and highlights with the best moments, among others.
The launch is in line with Fox’s strategy of expanding the reach and subscription options of its contents. In Brazil, the group also offers the Fox+ App, which is available without a pay TV subscription through iOS and Android digital stores.
“Our goal is to bring Fox Sports to consumers who do not have pay TV, with an experience that allows them to watch everything where they are and on the platform they want. Soon, the app will also be available through mobile and broadband operators, said Michel Piestun, General Manager of Fox Networks Group in Brazil.
Piestun will talk about this strategy in the next edition of NexTV Series Brasil, the leading conference to be held on November 28 & 29 at the Word Trade Center in São Paulo.
