US multiplatform network dedicated to culinary videos Tastemade announced that it has launched its Spanish versions with the goal of expanding its presence throughout Latin America. The digital network already has a very strong impact in Brazil.
Tastemade has a network of contents on major social media like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat in addition to its Video On Demand (VOD) platform available on Apple TV and Roku. They also have a mobile app for iOS.
Tastemade groups almost 200 creators and is considered a leader in foodie videos on YouTube with a total of 4.1 million fans and 70 million views, adding their versions in English and Portuguese. Their Facebook pages have 14.3 million followers.
The company plans to open an office in Brazil in 2016, according to the Digidaily.com website. In addition to the rest of Latin America, the network plans to expand into the German and Japanese markets this year.
