Scripps Networks Interactive has announced that their channel Food Network has been included in the channel offer for Net and Claro HDTV pay TV operators (both part of America Movil) in Brazil.
Beginning November 4th, the channel will be available for almost 7 million households in Brazil, according to the official press release. Net subscribers will have access to the network through their packages Net Mais HD (Net) and Mix HD (Claro HDTV) under the channels 554 HD and 54 SD.
“Brazil is a high priority market for Scripps Networks Interactive global strategy”, said Eduardo Hauser, General Director of Scripps Networks Interactive for Latin America and the Caribbean. “Our partnership with Net and Claro is a very important step in the development of our product and our brand, not just in Brazil but in the entire region. As a result of the agreement we can now reach far more households in an abundant and dynamic culinary market”, added the executive.
