LBI Media signed a multiyear agreement with US satellite service Dish Network to expand the distribution of its channel Estrella TV, which is now available on the provider’s “America’s Top 200” and “DishLatino Clasico” packages.
With this new agreement, Estrella TV expands its national distribution reaching over 40 million U.S. homes.

In turn, Cathy Lewis Edgerton, SVP, distribution and affiliate sales at LBI Media commented: “Hispanic audiences in the US are demanding new entertainment programming. Estrella TV Network has been betting on a counterprogramming strategy since its inception in 2009 before it was a trending topic among Spanish language television networks. This agreement with Dish corroborates the importance of Estrella TV’s programming in the U.S. Hispanic market”.
