ESPN to air ‘Injustice 2’ regional finals in Mexico

In order to meet the growing demand for eSports content, Warner Bros. Games will broadcast the regional final of the Latin League “Injustice 2”, Season 2, in partnership with Gamelta and ESPN in Mexico.
The event will be held at the CDMX and will be broadcast exclusively on TV on Thursday, October 11 at 9:00 pm (center time) on ESPN 2, as well as via streaming by the Gamelta eSports Professional League, with access to content behind the scenes.
“Injustice 2” is the legendary fighting game inspired by the most iconic superheroes and villains of the DC Universe. ESPN will produce for the first time the final of an eSports event in the country, from its TV studios in Mexico City.
“We are pleased to work together with Warner Brothers Games on this initiative,” said Rodolfo Martinez, Vice President, Production at ESPN International. “The production and broadcast of Liga Latina Injustice 2 from ESPN studios in Mexico City is part of our efforts to serve our young audience.”
