ESPN Brasil announced that it has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the final stages of PGL Major Krakow 2017, one of the most important Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) tournaments, with a prize pool of USD 1 million.
ESPN + will air the semifinals on Saturday, July 22, and the final live on Sunday 23. In this way, the channel continues to invest in eSports, a growing activity with broadcast and exclusive shows on ESPN+ and the TV Everywhere platform WatchESPN.
In addition to Counter Strike, ESPN also features competitions of Clash Royale, Rainbow Six Siege, Street Fighter and FIFA Ultimate Team. In turn, the channel offers weekly special programs such as “Multiplayer”, “MatchMaking” and “Arena eSports”.
