ESPN and FC Bayern Munich sign content sharing deal

ESPN has reached an agreement with FC Bayern Munich for rights to use and share content directly from the German Bundesliga club across its digital and linear platforms.
Through this agreement, Bayern Munich will make available its content – behind-the-scenes video, access-driven features, pre- and post-match reports, press briefings, team travelogue, and more – for use across a myriad ESPN programs in the United States, Canada, throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
ESPN Spanish-language programs will have access to the video content created by Bayern Munich for Spanish-speaking fans in the U.S. and throughout Latin America. In turn, video from the club will be available on ESPN’s English-language studio programs, digital and social media platforms, including the new ESPN+ streaming service, among others.
