Entel announces deal with Netflix in Peru

Peruvian operator Entel has announced that its clients will be able to pay for Netflix’s subscription through their monthly mobile phone bills, local media reported. This option is already available in the operation of the company in Chile.
The deal, available starting today, comes a few days after Movistar Peru, the largest pay TV operator, announced the integration of Netflix into its pay TV service and its OTT platform Movistar Play.
Additionally, Entel offers access to Netflix without consuming data for three months, for customers with plans starting from 99.90 PLUS. This promotion is valid until December 31 2018, said the company on its website. Entel is the third operator in number of subscribers, right behind Movistar and Claro.
