DirecTV added a channel with signals shared between Telecafé, Tr3ce and Canal TRO

DTH company DirecTV (AT&T) in Colombia has added to its programming lineup a channel with signals shared between Telecafé, Tr3ce and Television Regional del Oriente (TRO). DirecTV had announced the incorporation of the three regional channels last June.

Through the frequency 144, Telecafé is available from 11 AM to 7 PM. Tr3ce is aired from 7 PM to 3 AM and Canal TRO from 3 AM to 11 AM. The time-slot will rotate every four months to ensure equality between the regional channels.

According to local media, the three regional channels have been demanding for years joining the Satellite TV operator’s offer. DirecTV is the third pay TV operator of the country in term of subscriber number at the end of Q116, right behind Claro Colombia and Tigo-Une.
