Crunchyroll expands linear TV presence in Brazil

The anime streaming service Crunchyroll announced that, starting on August 6, it will expand presence on Rede Brazil’s programming. Its contents will be available every day of the week, at 10 p.m.
So far, the OTT service had a programming block in the station – launched in April – available only on weekends. Now Crunchyroll will have a 30-minute block on weekdays and a one-hour segment on Saturdays and Sundays.
With the new format, “Black Clover” will be broadcast on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, “Re: ZERO” will be available on Tuesdays and “Bungo Stray” on Thursdays. All these contents are dubbed into Portuguese. In addition, on Saturdays will be broadcast “Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon” (dubbed in Portuguese) and “Mob Psycho 100” (dubbed in Portuguese). On Sundays there will be “Nanbaka”, “How to Keep a Mummy” and “Ojisan to Marshmallow”. All these shows will be subtitled.
Max Castro, Project Manager Latam of Crunchyroll, will be present at the next edition of NexTV Series Mexico & Central America, the conference organized by Dataxis to be held on September 25 and 26 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Mexico City.
