Crackle to premiere new original series “Absentia”

New Sony Pictures Television Networks original series, “Absentia” will premiere in November in Latin America on Crackle, the company’s SVOD streaming service. The first season have ten one-hour episodes.  

This new thriller follows the story of FBI agent Emily Byrne, who disappears without a trace while hunting one of Boston’s most notorious serial killers and is declared dead. She is found six years later, barely alive and with no memory of what has happened to her. “Absentia” is produced by Tel Aviv-based Masha Productions.

The cast includes Stana Katic (“Castle”), Patrick Heusinger (“Jack Reacher: Never Go Back”), el actor mexicano, Bruno Bichir (“Narcos”), Neil Jackson (“Sleepy Hollow,” “Upstairs Downstairs”), Cara Theobald (“Downton Abbey”), Angel Bonanni (“Shots Fired”), Ralph Ineson (“Game of Thrones,” “The Office”) and Richard Brake (“Game of Thrones,” “Ray Donovan”), among others.

In addition to “Absentia”, Crackle offers other original productions such as “Preacher” and “Snatch: The Series”, as well as “StartUp”, “The Art of Ambition”, “SuperMansion” and “Powers”.
