Crackle launches on TigoUne’s One TV platform in Colombia

Sony Pictures Television Networks Latin America (SPTN Latin America) announced the launch of its authenticated SVOD service Crackle on TigoUne’s One TV platform, which combines linear TV and OTT.

This way, triple play customers of One TV, as well as clients with One Elite, One and One Plus packages can subscribe to the platform through the Colombian operator. TigoUne users will access Crackle during the first 3 months once they subscribe to One TV. After this period is over, they will be able to subscribe for Co$ 10,900 (USD 3.6) per month.

Tigo launched its One TV platform last September in Colombia and plans to expand the service in other markets where it operates.

“Agreements like this underline our willingness to help pay TV operators expand their audience base through innovative tools that respond to new forms of content consumption, while allowing us to expand Crackle’s presence in Latin America,” said in a statement José Rivera Font, vice president and general manager of SPT Digital Networks Latin America.

Rivera Font will participate in the next edition of NexTV CEO Latin America, the leading conference organized by Dataxis to be held on November 2 & 3 at The Biltmore Hotel in Miami.
