Crackle launches app for Xbox One in Latin America

Sony Pictures Television Networks Latin America (SPTN Latin America) announced the launch of a new application of Crackle, its authenticated SVOD service, for Xbox One consoles in Latin America. To access the content, users must be subscribed to the service through a pay TV operator.
The app includes features such as Always On, Parental Control, as well as the option to create “watch later” lists. Users must activate the application on their computer or smartphones by entering the four digits code that will appear on the console. Owners of Xbox One consoles that have downloaded the Crackle app in the past will have to delete it and download the new version.
“We are pleased to continue expanding Crackle’s presence in a wide range of platforms connected to the Internet in Latin America, including Xbox One, which is currently one of the main sources of entertainment for young people in our region,” said José Rivera Font , Vice President and General Manager of SPT Digital Networks Latin America.
Sony’s streaming service is also available through apps for iOS and Android, on Apple TV, Chromecast and Tivo, PS4 consoles, Sony and LG Smart TVs and from its website
