Mexico’s Club Deportivo Guadalajara – Chivas – announced in a statement posted on social media that the matches will no longer be available on Claro Video OTT platform (América Móvil).
“Fans, we inform you that the matches of Chivas will no longer be transmitted by @ClaroVideo. We appreciate the support during the CL17”, said Chivas’ official Twitter account.
Chivas recently unveiled the new version of its OTT service, which will now use NBC Sports’ Playmaker Media platform. Chivas matches are also available on pay TV through Televisa’s TDN channel. The team also have a partnership, similar to the one it had with Claro Video, with Mexican OTT Cinépolis Klic.
