Claro Sports and Marca to offer Winter Olympics in virtual reality

Claro Sports and Marca have announced that they will deliver 50 hours of 2018 Winter Olympics programming in virtual reality. The content will be available through “Marca Claro 360” app in 17 countries in Latin America.
The companies will offer the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as skiing, curling, snowboarding, figure skating, short track speed skating, ski jumping and hockey, among others. The VR experiences will be available on Android, iOS, Google Daydream and Samsung Gear VR.
Recently, Claro Sports and Marca Claro announced that they will offer multiplatform coverage of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games in Latin America, which will include 600 hours of content through two pay TV channels and six signals with simultaneous transmissions on site www.marcaclaro.com. The Olympic Games will take place between February 9 and 25, 2018.
