Clan launches in Mexico with Axtel

RTVE children’s channel Clan has launched in Mexico through pay TV operator Axtel, which has more than 120,000 users in more than 10 cities in the country, RTVE said in a statement.
The channel was launched in Latin America in June last year and is already available in pay TV operators of eight countries: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Honduras, and Costa Rica. The programming lineup includes original productions or co-productions with independent producers (around 80% of the total), as well as acquired shows that adjust to the profile of the channel.
According to the RTVE statement, Clan’s goal is “to meet the demands of entertainment and training of children up to 12 years of age, with special attention to preschool age, both in the 2 to 4 year age group and in 4 to 7 years old segment”.
