Cinemax launches commercial operations in Peru

HBO Latin America announced the launch of commercial operations of its basic pay TV channel Cinemax in Peru. Now, companies in the country will be able to advertise their products and services in the channel’s programming.
According to Gustavo Grossmann, CVP of Networks for HBO Latin America, during 2017 the Peruvian pay TV market had “significant growth in subscribers” and this motivated the company to take the next step: “to offer Peruvian companies the possibility of integrating their brands in a personalized and original way with the programming of the channel that offers the best films and exclusive series.”
Cinemax offers a varied programming that includes complete seasons of hit HBO series, such as “Game of Thrones” and “Girls”, simultaneous premieres of HBO series such as “El Negocio”, “Westworld” and “Mr. Ávila” and films of all genres such as” Batman V. Superman” and “The Suicide Squad”, among others.
