Mexican football team Las Chivas de Guadalajara announced an agreement with Televisa to broadcast their matches on FTA by Televisa Deportes. The agreement adds to those already announced with Multimedios and TV Azteca and will last for one year, according to Mexican newspaper Reforma.
Through his Twitter account, Televisa Deportes showed in a video Chivas general director, José Luis Higuera, who confirmed that local matches will be on Multimedios, TV Azteca and Televisa.
Deal is signed almost three years after Chivas ended its 22-year relationship with Televisa to launch their OTT ‘Chivas TV’, and a few days after the club announced similar agreements. This way, in addition to Multimedios and TV Azteca, Chivas matches will be broadcast on Televisa and streaming platforms Chivas TV, Blim and Cinepolis Klic.
