Cartoon Network reaches 1 million subs on YouTube channels

Pay TV children’s channel Cartoon Network announced that it has surpassed 1 million subscribers on YouTube, both on its channel for Latin American and on Cartoon Network Brazil.

This new achievement is in line with the multi-platform strategy that the channel has been developing for several years, including the creation of specific content for YouTube following the platform’s native features.

In 2016 was released the second original production for the platform, “Toontubers”, the gamer show starring Mordecai and Rigby (Regular Show).

“We never cease to marvel at the response of our fans. Reaching the million subscribers on YouTube throughout the region is a signal that fills us with joy. With every fan that joins the platforms, it increases our commitment to continue delivering a relevant entertainment experience, “said Pablo Zuccarino, VP and Manager of Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast Latin America.
