Cartoon Network Anything becomes TV show

Cartoon Network has launched this week a new TV show based on the mobile application Cartoon Network Anything. The show includes videos, games, music and puzzles.

The Cartoon Network Anything app reached more than 2.1 million downloads in Latin America. The new TV show captures the sensitivity of the mobile experience in 11-minute episodes, offering varied mini content including original videos, surveys, trivia, fan-submitted art, games and riddles.

The show was created by the Cartoon Network Latin America team, based on an idea of the channel’s Creative Manager, Brendan Rogan. It will feature a first season of 13 episodes, with premieres every two weeks, and will be available on the linear channel and YouTube.

“In Cartoon Network we are continuously innovating and redefining the established rules. This new show is an example of that, since unlike the more traditional development patterns, this time we took a mobile application as a point of origin and we build this new linear proposal”, explained in a statement Pablo Zuccarino, Vice President, Channel Manager Cartoon Network, Boomerang & Tooncast Latin America.
