Aimed to expand its Latin American presence, from this month the linear TV channel BabyFirst -owned by First Media- will be added to Sky Mexico’s programming grid. The channel’s catalog includes more than 90 programs and original characters focused on educating and stimulating babies and children during their first life years.
BabyFirst will be available on Sky Mexico’s channel 335, on SkyHD and FUN plans. The TV channel is also aired on Sky Central America an the Caribbean, and it is also on Totalplay for the entire Mexican territory.
‘Latin America is a key territory for us, and we’re just getting started’, said C. Said Schwarz, CEO of First Media Americas, to later add that BabyFirst’s characters and programs ‘are loved by millions of families around the world, and it’s our mission to produce fun and educational content for your children’. With this in mind, Schwarz expressed that this year, the channel will be expanding its efforts to bring its programming to new distributors and platforms, both in Latin America and around the world.
At present, BabyFirst is available in 33 countries worldwide. Its content reaches more than 60 million households in the US and more than 110 million watchers through its own channels, pay TV operators and OTT distributors.
