Argentinian holding Interam confirmed the launching of its new DTH  ‘NiceTV’, using the enabling license given by National Communications Agency (Enacom). Martín Amarilla, new operator managing partner and Chinese and Paraguayan companies will also take part in the  developing.

Those partners already work in manufacturing ‘components like antennas, set-top boxes and cable terminations in Mercosur, in order to attend the demand of a no ceiling market’, explained Amarilla.  We aspire to be a one more player in a market where big holdings does not attend, mostly those in which, because of its low incomes, only enjoy the TDA grid.

‘Nice TV is a dream came true after too much work and inversions. We are a holding committed with our country, based in Formosa, and we want our province to protagonize off all new content in DTH’, he added.

NiceTV will be the third argentinian DTV, behind DirecTV and InTV. Juan Amarilla, Martín Amarilla’s father and leader of the company, had pointed that ‘the goal is to achieve a 10% of almost 3 million subscribers that currently belongs to DirecTV’.
