Roku announced that the Apple TV app is now available on the platform. This way, and for the first time, Roku clients can add the Apple TV channel through the Roku Channel Store to access movies, TV shows and other content, as well as their iTunes video library, and subscribe to Apple TV premium channels directly on their Roku devices. In addition, from next November 1st, Apple TV +, Apple’s new OTT, will be available on the platform, through the Apple TV app.

Through the Apple TV app on their Roku devices, customers can enjoy personalized TV show and movie recommendations, subscribe directly to Apple TV channels and more content using their Apple ID and password, search, buy or rent more than 100 thousand movies and shows, and watch all the content that they have acquired on iTunes before.
Starting next November 1st, Apple TV+ will be available in the Apple TV app on Roku, giving users exclusive access to shows, movies, and documentaries from the most celebrated creative artists, including Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston and others. Roku users can subscribe to Apple TV + directly in the Apple TV app on their Roku devices for a USD 4.99 monthly subscription, with a seven-day free trial. Apple TV+ subscribers can also enjoy the Apple TV app on iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs, iPod Touch, Macs, and other platforms. Compatible Roku devices already have the Apple TV app available for free.
Apple TV+ will be available through the Apple TV app in certain regions from November 1st, Apart from the US, the Apple TV app will be available to Roku clients in Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
