Amazon reached 18.4 million worldwide viewers with NFL games

Amazon revealed that it reached 18.4 million total viewers during its first season streaming Thursday night NFL games. Outside the US. Mexico was the country where most customers watched the games.
The NFL games were available through Prime Video service in 224 countries and territories. The company said that the average-minute audience (AMA) watching NFL games for at least 30 seconds was more than 310,000, a number said to be 17% higher than the AMA Twitter attracted in 2016, according to Fierce Cable.
Amazon Prime Video streamed 10 Thursday night NFL games and one game on Christmas Day. The company obtained the biggest audience during Atlanta Falcons versus the New Orleans Saints game, which reached 2 million worldwide viewers. Behind Mexico, Germany and South Korea were the other international markets where the NFL games were most watched.
