Amazon has announced the launch date of three original series, as well as new seasons for its streaming service Prime Video, now available in more than 200 countries.
The new 30-minute series “Fleabag”, written by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, will premiere on February 10. “Fleabag” is a hilarious and poignant window into the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman, Amazon said in a statement.
On February 17, Prime Video members will be able to watch the new series “Goliath”, starring Golden Globe and Oscar award winner Billy Bob Thornton in the role of the lawyer Billy McBride.
Also on February 17, Amazon will add to streaming lineup the third seasons of the award-winning series “Transparent” and “Mozart in the Jungle”.
In turn, “Z: The Beginning of Everything” will debut on February 27. The series tells the story of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, the brilliant, beautiful Southern Belle who became the original flapper and icon of the wild, flamboyant Jazz Age.
