Cesar Sabroso, Marketing, Affiliates and Corporate Communications VP at A+E Networks Latin America, said the company is renewing its platforms to improve its customers experience in the on demand and A + E Play content consumption. In addition, he advanced programming news of the four brands of the company and gave details of original production projects in Mexico and Brazil.
The four brands that make up A+E Networks Latin America’s multiplatform content catalog (History, History 2, A&E and Lifetime) are renewing series seasons and adding new ones, and also developing original production contents, specially in Mexico. Into the most outstanding news, Lifetime will premiere Lifetime Movies every week, designed for the female audience and all of them directed and produced by women. A&E will bring more A&E Investiga episodes, with big global impact cases, and premieres in A&E Movies. History 2 will have a greater offer of entertainment and culture and history documentaries, and History will add new seasons and episodes of El precio de la historia, ¿Quién da má$?, premieres of miniseries and original productions.
Sabroso also expressed that the company is developing five original production projects in Brazil. One is the second season of Guía políticamente incorrecta and another is Immigrantes, a series that focuses on how European and Asian immigrants influenced the today’s Brazilian territory. In the case of Mexico, he explained that the second stage of Desafío sobre fuego: Latinoamerica is being produced. It is a reality show where eight people from different countries compete to become the best forger of the continent. The project is a History production, which has its premiere scheduled for September 23rd in the entire region, available in VOD and Extreme VOD (XVOD).
