2btube launches new label for kids and family content


Multichannel Network 2btube announced the launch of 2bkids, a new label for kids and family content on YouTube. The project is led by Juan Baixeras, who joined the company as General Manager.


In a press release, the company said that 2bkids will offer the same services as 2btube; talent management and intellectual properties, as well as in the production of channels and branded content, but targeted at an international audience in all languages, formed by children up to 10 years and their families.


According to Bastian Manintveld, Executive Chairman of 2btube, “more than 15% of our audience of 500 million video views a month was coming from pre-school”. Thus, the company said that 2bkids already counts 30 channels with more than 80 million monthly views.


2btube completed two years in September with the management of 600 channels, gathering over 500 million monthly views and 50 million fans and subscribers. It also owns two channels of original content -Campeones y Draw My Life en Español- and it is working with more than 80 brands worldwide, including global brands such as Sony Playstation, Warner Music or Netflix. 2btube is now ranked number 23 in the worldwide ranking of MultiChannel Networks published by SocialBlade.
